Grand Blue Dreaming, also known as Grand Blue, is a Japanese seinen manga series. Written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka, it has been serialized in Kodansha's Good! Afternoon since April 2014. The first volume was released in November 2014, with twenty-six volumes compiled as of April 2026. Published in English by Kodansha USA, the story follows Iori Kitahara's college life on the Izu Peninsula. Staying above his uncle's diving shop "Grand Blue," Iori quickly becomes involved with the local Diving Club, a group more focused on drinking, partying, and nudity than diving. Despite initial attempts to distance himself, Iori is swept into their comedic, slice-of-life, and sports-themed adventures, encompassing slapstick and romance. The series received an anime television adaptation, with its first season airing from July to September 2018 and a second scheduled for July to September 2025. A live-action film adaptation was also released in August 2020.
