Horimiya
Horimiya is a Japanese shounen manga series written by Hero and illustrated by Daisuke Hagiwara, adapting Hero's original Hori-san to Miyamura-kun webcomic. It was serialized in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy from October 18, 2011, to March 18, 2021, concluding with 17 volumes. The final volume, which included 10 additional chapters, was released on July 18, 2023. This romantic comedy and slice of life manga centers on the evolving heterosexual relationship between high school students Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura. Hori is known at school as popular and intelligent, while Miyamura is often seen as quiet and gloomy. The story unfolds as they discover each other's hidden lives: Hori's secret role as a plain homebody caring for her family, and Miyamura's pierced and tattooed off-campus persona. This revelation allows them to explore their true selves and develop an unexpected bond.
