Sakamoto Days is a Japanese shōnen manga series written and illustrated by Yuuto Suzuki. It began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine in November 2020, with its chapters collected into 26 tankōbon volumes as of March 2026. The series is simultaneously published in English by Viz Media and on the Manga Plus online platform. The story centers on Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman renowned in the criminal underworld who retired after falling in love. He now leads a quiet, mundane life running a convenience store with his family, having gained weight. However, his peaceful existence is frequently disturbed as enemies and former colleagues from his past attempt to target him and his loved ones. Sakamoto must utilize his exceptional combat skills to protect his family, blending action, comedy, and the inherent dangers of the assassin world with themes of family life. An anime television series adaptation produced by TMS Entertainment aired from January to March 2025, with a second part scheduled to premiere in April 2026.
