Re:Monster is a Japanese manga series adapted from a light novel, with its story written by Kogitsune Kanekiru and art by Haruyoshi Kobayakawa. The manga began serialization online via AlphaPolis' manga website in March 2014 and has been collected into 12 tankōbon volumes. The plot follows a man who, after his death, is reincarnated in a fantasy world as a weak goblin named Rou, also referred to as Gobrou. Retaining his human memories and possessing a unique absorption ability, Rou rapidly gains strength by consuming others, evolving at an astonishing rate and eventually becoming a powerful leader within his community in a world where survival of the fittest is paramount. The series incorporates Action, Adventure, and Fantasy elements, depicting a goblin's evolution and rise. It is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment and received an anime television series adaptation in 2024, with a second season subsequently announced.
